AWAY DAYZ
Following our successful mini coach trips to Stoke and Bolton, we're considering similar for saturday home games at Bootham Crescent. Leaving Wembley at about 10:00 and back by about 21:00, cost about a score. Please contact Ray to register an initial interest.
We arrange group travel to games, discounted group train tickets, car sharing or mini bus hire, we don't care how we get there. And getting back sometimes leads to unexpected occurences. Of course being based in the south, a home game counts as an away game to us, so the same rules apply.
Ray Goodearl often organises a car share starting from the London area. Contact him for seat availability. We've even been known to run a convoy for the big games. Anyway, why travel to City games in silence and abject misery when you can share the experience and half the pain. And, just imagine, how much more fun it is travelling back in a car load of City supporters celebrating a victory. Imagine, it might happen one day.
Being an established Supporters Club branch, we're in a position to find out ticket details for those big games and can sometimes order and distribute tickets through the branch saving all that nasty queuing, phone calls and extra expense in obtaining big (I wish) match tickets.

Oh, a word of advice, if you're taking a new girlfriend to an away game, make sure she's well trained first. Naturally, Top Totty Tilly saw her first game when we won at Old Trafford. Her next game was at Colchester on a cold friday night, she eventually got to the front of the half time refreshment queue where she ordered, "a pot of tea for 2 please", boyfriend cringed, disowned her and promptly set about changing her status as girlfriend.
